We saw an increase of inquiries this past week(s) and are happy that parents continue to be interested in a Canadian High School Education for their son/ daughter. But there are, of course, still concerns when they think about September 2021.

MPS has got you covered and will ensure that all student can start their education with us on time, no one will be left behind.

Here is what we have planned:

The classes will be starting in person, here on the Merrick Preparatory School campus, on Wednesday September 8, 2021. Student arrival date is Tuesday September 7, 2021. Everything is prepared for our students/ staff to be safe and healthy.

However, if a student is delayed due to Study Permit processing, or parental concern over COVID or the parents may want to wait a month or two, we got you covered and the student will not miss out. During the time they are waiting for their Study Permit or doing a “wait and see” if nervous about flying in early September, the student can partake as a Synchronous Learner live every day from home and not miss out on any classes. Students will be able to connect with their teachers and classmates from day one.

In addition, in this situation, we would pro-rate the fees to our Synchronous Learning Fee for the time that the student was a Synchronous Learning Student. It will be refunded to the student account and returned to the parents, if not used.

Rest assured, students can transition easily to on campus learning, as soon as they are ready to travel. This is our support to our families to guarantee your student  can continue his/her education without hesitation. No more waiting.
